There is nothing different about the Dream Realm Apha Bear variant when compared to its Primal Lord counterpart.
It will still one-shot your entire team when it gets honey on all of your heroes, while also reducing their healing and requiring a hero to be within 1-space of it so that it doesn’t demolish you.
The Alpha Bear is a powerful and annoying boss to fight against, and that hasn’t changed with its introduction to the Dream Realm. That is why we’ll show you the best team to deal with it so that you can get a good ranking.

Dream Realm Alpha Bear Best Teams
The Alpha Bear has a series of annoying skills that require a specific hero to counter them. The roles that you’ll need for the Alpha Bear fight are the following:
- Tank - with 1 Range
- Healer
- Summoner
- Debuffer or Buffer
- DPS
With the nerfs to True Damage, Marilee is out of the running for the best DPS unit, and that role will once again be given to Odie, who has been dominating in almost any mode.
As for the other roles, they are somewhat flexible, and you should always use your strongest units; nonetheless, you came here for the best team, and we are here to deliver.
This is the best team against Dream Realm’s Alpha Bear:
- Koko
- Smokey & Meerky
- Florabelle
- Reinier

With this setup, you can safely replace Reinier with either Kruger or Thoran to work as a second Tank and Debuffer. Though if you do have Reinier built, then he’s without a doubt the best debuffer for this fight. However, make sure that you place his buff on Koko so that she is teleported right in front of the Alpha Bear.
Florabelle can also be replaced with Cecia, but if you have Florabelle built, then she will do more damage and will also keep your team alive longer thanks to her three summons as opposed to Cecia’s one summon.
For artifacts, you’ll want to use the following:
- Crescent Spell
- Starshard Spell
- Quickblade Spell
