Those who’ve played since the release of AFK Journey are without a doubt familiar with the Lone Gaze. It was an enemy that first appeared as a Primal Lord, but with the introduction of the Song of Strife Lone Gaze has found a new place to get beaten up, and that is the Dream Realm.
In this guide, we’ll show you the best teams to do maximum damage against Lone Gaze.

Lone Gaze Introduction
With Lone Gaze’s and Alpha Bear’s introductions to the Dream Realm lineup, Lone Gaze is now one of the 6 bosses in the Dream Realm that players will face off against.
The Dream Realm version of Lone Gaze is completely the same as his Primal Lord version, so there is nothing new to add here, and we will be using the same strategies that we used in the Primal Lord fight.

Dream Realm Lone Gaze Best Teams
Lone Gaze is one of the bosses with the greatest damage in the game, and it can instantly one-shot some of your DPS heroes with his phantom wolves.
As such, it is always a good idea to bring a Shielder and a Healer for this fight while filling the rest of the slots with DPS and debuffer units.
Similar to most other fights in the Dream Realm, you want to use your most-built heroes while also keeping Faction Bonuses in mind.
NOTE: Do not use weak units even if they’re shown here, as units at low Ascensions have way fewer stats and will die quickly.
With that out of the way, the recommended team you’ll want for the Lone Gaze consists of:
- Shielder
- Healer
- Debuffer
- Buffer
- DPS

Given the recent nerfs to true damage, your best in slow carry will without a doubt be Odie, and Smokey & Meerky is one of the best healers for the Dream Realm.
For a secondary DPS that can also work as a tank, we suggest Shakir, but if you do not have Shakir at EX+10, then you’ll want to replace him with Korin.
The best team against Lone Gaze in Dream Realm looks like this:
- Thoran - Tank / Debuffer
- Smokey & Meerky - Healer
- Koko - Shielder
- Shakir - Buffer
- Odie - DPS

As for artifacts, you’ll want to use the following:
- Crescent Spell
- Starshard Spell
- Quickblade Spell
