What is Season Essence?
Season Essence is equivalent to the Hero Essence currency but for the Season Resonance.
You will need Season Essence to uncap your Heroes every ten levels, and it will be the biggest pain in your progression.
To start obtaining Season Essence, you first need to unlock the Song of Strife season and the new AFK Stages that will reward you with Season Manuals and, you guessed it, Season Essence.
So if you still haven’t unlocked the new Season despite having fulfilled the requirements, then do not waste any more time, as the sooner you start getting Season Essence, the better.

How to Get Season Essence
Just like Hero Essence, Season Essence is really hard to get, and you’ll either need to wait or spend to boost your progression.
As we’ve already mentioned, you will only start getting Season Essence if you have unlocked the Song of Strife season, so don’t waste any time and do it if you have completed the prerequisites.
Now then, there are a total of 4 ways to get Season Essence:
- AFK Rewards
- Battle Pass Rewards
- Daily Quest Rewards
- Season Legend Trail Rewards
Each of these gives different amounts of Season Essence, with AFK Rewards giving the most and Season Legend Trials giving the least.
As with Hero Essence, it is important that you get the most Season Essence out of these places.
To do this, there are some tricks you can use:
- Always use all [Instant AFK Attempts], both free and with gems.
- Only use [Instant AFK Attempts] at the end of the day.
- Only claim [Daily Quest Rewards] at the end of the day.
