AFK Journey: Resonance Synergy Explained - How to Unlock

AFK Journey is all about getting your account stronger and pushing through as much content as possible. To do this players will most often turn to getting more copies of Heroes to make them stronger, or increasing a Hero’s level to get them more stats, stronger skills, and so on.

Resonance Synergy is one of the features that allows you to continue leveling up your Heroes after Level 240, and in this guide, we’ll tell you all you need to know about the feature and how to unlock it.

What is Resonance Synergy?

In AFK Journey you have a feature known as the Resonating Hall where you place Heroes and level them. This leveling process requires three types of resources:

• Hero EXP
• Gold
• Hero Essence

These three can be obtained through various means in the game and you will need them to level up your Heroes until all 5 main heroes are at Level 240.

One would think that after reaching Level 240 on all five heroes you’ll be met with another system to increase account power, and that is certainly the case. When all five heroes reach their respective max level the Resonance Synergy unlocks.

The Resonance Synergy is a system where you can continue leveling up your heroes to a maximum level of 300, which can further be increased by owning Supreme+ heroes, with each Supreme+ hero increasing the maximum level by 5.

How to Unlock Resonance Synergy

To unlock the Resonance Synergy all you need to do is level up all 5 of your main heroes to Level 240. Once you get to that point you will be shown an in-game tutorial that will guide you through what the Resonance Synergy is and how you can use it.

There is no way to unlock the Resonance Synergy before all of your Heroes are at Level 240, and after you have unlocked it you can find the function by going to your Resonance Hall and looking at the top left, right under your Power indicator.

How to Use Resonance Synergy

Using the Resonance Synergy system is quite simple, all you need to do is head on over to the Resonance Synergy screen by going to your Resonating Hall and opening the Resonance Synergy window under your power indicator.

There you click on the big [Level Up] button on the bottom and all of your Heroes will gain a level.

Unlike the normal leveling process the Resonance Synergy only requires Hero Essence, so unfortunately the Hero Essence farm does not stop after Level 240.

Luckily, the Resonance Synergy system has a feature where you can trade in Training Manuals for Hero Essence at a rate of 3300:1 making the grind for Hero Essence a bit easier.

You can convert your Training Manuals at the Resonance Synergy window, and the button can be found right next to the Level Up button, making it quite hard to miss.

It’s worth noting that the starting max level for the Resonance Synergy is set at 300, however, you can increase that by getting more Supreme+ Heroes, and each hero you get to Supreme+ will increase the Resonance Synergy level cap by +5, so there is still way more progression to be had.
