"In the history of Remedy games, we've typically created story-focused, relatively short games, around 10 hours or so," Lake mentioned on the Kinda Funny podcast. "Internally, we've always felt the need to explore longer games, partly because players consider the value of their money. Control was our longest game at that point, and Alan Wake 2 will be even longer, clocking in at 20 hours or more."
