All Exotic Armor Pieces in Destiny 2: The Final Shape

The Final Shape DLC has added quite a few interesting Exotic armors to Destiny 2. We’ll be going over all of them, explaining what they can do and how to get them.

There are six new Exotic armor pieces in Destiny 2: The Final Shape, two for each class, excluding the Exotic class items. Rahool and his new Exotic-deciphering loyalty scheme will be the source of all six of these new exotics. To unlock them, you'll have to raise Rahool's reputation.

Let's go over all of them so you can decide which ones fit your build the best.

Wishful Ignorance

Armor Type: Titan gauntlets

Wishful Ignorance's Exotic Perk, Wish-Dragon's Talons, adds a fourth charge to your Frenzied Blade in Destiny 2: The Final Shape. While wearing this Exotic, your Frenzied Blade and Flechette Storm Aspects will temporarily enhance their damage with each blow. Pulses from your Banner of War restore melee energy to you, dependent on the number of teammates you heal.

This Exotic has huge consequences for Strand Titans that use both Banner of War and Flechette Storm. However, due to the increased Frenzied Blade charge and damage, these may be beneficial for Prismatic Titans who do not have access to either of the Strand Titan characteristics.

Hazardous Propulsion

Armor Type: Titan chest

Hazardous Propulsion's Exotic Perk is called Danger Close, which allows weapon precision strikes or kills to load Kinetic Exodus rockets into the chest piece. When you activate your class ability in Destiny 2: The Final Shape, any Exodus rockets you have stored will be fired, homing in on enemies.

Dealing damage with your Exodus rockets grants you a short buff that boosts all rocket launcher damage.

This chest item holds a lot of promise for Titans. Not only do these rockets deliver a lot of damage, but the boost to rocket launchers may significantly improve Titans' DPS in boss raids.

Gifted Conviction

Armor Type: Hunter chest

The Exotic Perk for Gifted Conviction in Destiny 2: The Final Shape is The Gift of Certainty, which lets you launch small Arc Bombs whenever you use Ascension or Tempest Strike. These bombs inflict damage and jolt targets. Jolting any nearby opponents increases your damage resistance.

This chest item complements Hunter's new Ascension Aspect, which allows them to fly through the air. It also provides Hunters with an effective defensive choice while on Arc, as Jolt is a very powerful and prevalent subclass verb.

Balance of Power

Armor Type: Hunter legs

The Exotic Perk for Balance of Power in Destiny 2: The Final Shape is called Double Down, and it increases the longevity and durability of your Threaded Specter. When this upgraded Threaded Specter is hit, it releases more Threadings. Finally, while you stand near your Threaded Specter, you will not be detected by hostile radars.

This is a PvP Exotic rather than a PvE one, but it will undoubtedly irritate any Crucible opponents you face as a Strand Hunter.

Speaker’s Sight

Armor Type: Warlock helmet

Speaker's Sight's Exotic Perk in Destiny 2: The Final Shape is The Lost Voice, which causes your healing grenades to generate a Restorative Turret. Healing allies has the potential to summon an Orb of Power.

This Exotic could be quite handy for Solar or Prismatic Warlocks who want to keep their comrades healthy. Healing grenades typically only provide a single burst of healing to allies, but with Speaker's Sight, Warlocks can lock down an area for a while by providing consistent healing to their team.

Mataiodoxia

Armor Type: Warlock chest

Mataiodoxia's Exotic Perk in Destiny 2: The Final Shape is Stylostixis, which forces any targets you damage with your Arcane Needle Strand melee to unleash a Suspending burst upon death. When you land numerous Arcane Needles on a single target, an even bigger Suspending burst is immediately triggered.

Killing suspended targets gives you melee energy, and your Arcane Needles can penetrate Barrier Champions.

This Exotic gives Strand Warlocks more choices for Suspending targets, something the class is already adept at achieving. But, perhaps more crucially, it provides Prismatic Warlocks with a consistent method of Suspending foes in the absence of a Suspend grenade.
