Apex Legends Breakout New Update: Lost Challenges Progress Fix & More

Respawn Entertainment has been grappling with the latest bugs that occurred after their April Fools update. To address them, the developers even temporarily shut down Apex's servers. Understandably, players were frustrated by the inconveniences they experienced.

Now, Apex Legends has received its most recent update, aiming to resolve all the recent issues and even some additional problems observed in the game. Check out all the new fixes and ensure that if you experienced any previous issues, they are now resolved.

The Apex Breakout Legend Challenges Losing Progress Bug is Fixed

At the beginning of this month, Apex released its annual April Fools update, which unexpectedly caused numerous issues in the game. Players complained about losing their rewards or progress, including missing Ranked Badges and lost progress on Breakout Reward Challenges. Some players even reported complete account resets.

Just a few days ago, Respawn Entertainment announced that the issues with Ranked had been fixed and all players should now have their rightfully deserved ranks restored. With today's update, everyone's challenge progress should also be restored, including the Challenges for Seer, Fuse, and Rampart for all impacted players.

Additional Fixes in The Latest Apex Legends Patch

It's a positive development that along with the challenge progress update, some other issues are being addressed as well. While not major, the following changes will contribute to smoother and more balanced gameplay.

• Caustic no longer gets slowed by an enemy Caustic's gas
• The end rings will no longer be placed over lava on World's Edge
• Invisible walls on Broken Moon on Switch have been removed 

Apex Legends Compensation For The Recent April Fools Issue

Along with the Ranked Badges fix, Apex also announced that everyone will receive 8 free Apex Packs as a 'thank you' from the producers for their patience. Even if you didn't experience any issues, you will still receive the rewards.

Today's patch should already be available. All you have to do is update Apex Legends and log in. We hope everyone has their progress back and that the April Fools issue is finally resolved.
