At Level 2 Lae'Zel gets her action surge and this is where things start to get interesting. Thanks to it you can immediately gain an action point, which will give you a huge advantage against enemies.
Lae'Zel at Level 3:
- +1 Spell / +3 Passives / +1 Sublass Feature / +2 Second-level spell slots
- SubClass: Battle Master
- Manoevres: Ripostle, Disarming Strike, Menacing Attack (or Trip Attack)
You can use Menacing Attack to frighten enemies and leave them scared, while Ripostle is amazing for counterattacks. Lae'Zel will be doing melee damage and she'll be close to the enemies so this maneuver is very useful. The Disarming attack will force your enemies to drop their weapon, which is a huge advantage because they will need a whole action point to pick it up again and equip it.

- +1 Feat
- Feat: Ability Improvement. +1 Strength and +1 Dexterity / +2 Strength
Choose if you want to improve your Strength by 2 points or improve both your Dexterity and Strength.
Lae'Zel at Level 5:

Extra Attack! This is where Lae'Zel starts getting insanely good and has amazing solo carry potential. Paired with Action Surge, you'll give your enemies a hard time.
Lae'Zel at Level 6:

- Feat: Great Weapon Master
When you crit or kill the target, Great Weapon Master gives you a bonus action. Paired up with Extra Attack and Action Surge, you can get 5 attacks per turn.

- Manoevres: Action Surge, Pushing Attack, Precision Attack, Trip Attack
Rally will allow Lae'Zel to help the team with 8 temporary hit points. This is great for some extra suitability. Pick the other Manoevre according to your playstyle. Pushing Attack is the optimal choice if you want to help the team with some distance or if you're good at pushing enemies off the map.
Lae'Zel at Level 8:
- +1 Feat
- Feat: Ability Improvement. +2 in Strength or Alert
Choose either of those two feats. They're both great for Lae'Zel. In this specific build, we're getting her Strength up to 20.
