Costume Party Charmy is the newest Attacker character to join the Black Clover M roster with the introduction of Season 4 to the game.

She brings some new mechanics to the game with the addition of her [Pumpkin Pie] and is a character that you might want to consider getting.

Who is Costume Party Charmy

S4 Charmy is the newest addition to the Attacker line-up in Black Clover M, and is a variation of Charmy, a popular character from the Black Clover anime.

She is a Power Attacker that focuses on dealing a lot of damage and boosting her skills with her [Pumpkin Pie] mechanic. This is how you build her right!

Costume Party Charmy Skills

S4 Charmy’s skills focus on dealing both single and AOE damage to enemies. Her [Pumpkin Pie] effect is a nuke of a passive that deals amazing damage.

SKILL 1

 

Pumpkin Launch

• Charmy lanches pumpkin-shaped magic bullets at a single enemy, dealing damage.
  • Inflicts [Burn] on an enemy, dealing continuous damage for 2 turns.

SKILL 2

Trick or Treat

• Charmy throws candy bombs, dealing damage to all enemies.
  • If an enemy is under the [Pumpkin Pie] effect, applies [Halloween Firecrackers] to them.
    • Halloween Firecrackers: Instantly activates the [Pumpkin Pie] effect and then removes it.

SKILL 3

Charmy's Special Soup

• A sheep upgraded from eating Charmy's Special Soup attacks, dealing damage to an enemy.
  • Applies the [Pumpkin Pie] effect to an enemy.
    • Pumpkin Pie: When 5 turns pass after applying this effect, inflicts 600% of ATK and MATK as DMG Dealt and then removes it. After applying it, at the start of every turn, increases DMG Dealt by [Pumpkin Pie].
    • If an enemy under this effect starts their turn, transfer the [Pumpkin Pie] effect to a random teammate on their side.
    • Inflicts continuous [Burn] damage on the enemy to whom [Pumpkin Pie] has been transferred to for 2 turns.
  • If an enemy is under the [Pumpkin Pie] effect, inflict [Burn] on them for 2 turns.

SKILL 4

 

Combined Attack

• Performs a combined attack with your partner, dealing damage to an enemy.
  • Attacks after removing an enemy's [Barrier].

As with any other Attacker character, S4 Charmy’s gears should focus on boosting her damage so that she can reach her potential. As such we will be focusing on ATK and a good crit ratio.

• Battle Frenzy - Grants 2.5% [Increased CRIT Rate] at the start of a wave. (Stacks up to 5 times)

Defense Talents:

• Increased DEF - [DEF] +20%
• Endurance - Grants [DEF] +4% and [CRIT RES] +2% at the start of a wave. (Stacks up to 5 times.)

Support Talents:

• Mage’s Blessing - 20% chance to grant a [Reduced Skill II’s Cooldown by 1 Turn] buff at the start of a turn.
• Increased ACC and PEN - [ACC] +5% & [PEN] +5%

Summary

Costume Party Charmy is definitely not the best Attacker to come out in Black Clover M, although her skills are interesting and her [Pumpkin Pie] does a lot of damage, getting it to actually hit can sometimes prove challenging and there are other Attackers that do a better job at their role than S4 Charmy. 

Nonetheless, Costume Party Charmy is a fun addition to the Attacker roster, and if you’ve already gotten Costume Party Noelle, you might want to look at S4 Charmy for another character that you can play around with!
