Thread of Fate Vanessa is a Support unit that for better or worse is centered around being used in PvP. Given her kit and what we’ve tested, her kit lacks quite a bit when used in PvE and there are certainly better options that you should invest in.

However, when it comes to PvP Vanessa is a great unit that can give out a lot of really nice buffs, and make your Defenders beefier than ever.

Although she has a diverse kit, when we look closely at it we understand that it mostly revolves around applying defensive buffs and keeping your Defenders alive.

Thread of Fate Vanessa can increase your team’s SP, heal them, apply Invulnerability, dispel debuffs, increase stamina at higher stars, and event remove Immortality, just like Zora.

All in all, she is a versatile support that can do a ton of stuff, which is, once again, for better or worse aimed mainly at PvP.

Thread of Fate Vanessa is a great step-up from her SR counterpart which had been live since the release of the game. This SSR version of Vanessa is a great choice when it comes to Sense Supports, and if you’ve missed your chance at getting Ceremony Charlotte then she’s a unit you’ll want to go for if you’re looking for a viable Sense Support.

Although she quite honestly does not offer anything in PvE, she can find a spot in a lot of PvP teams and might just help you win some matches. She and Zora are a fun addition to the game and both units are focused on manipulating SP and removing Immortality, which can prove to be quite useful in PvP.

Overall, Vanessa is a solid unit with a specific niche and might just be worth your currency and resources.
