Can You Play No Rest for the Wicked on the Steam Deck?

No Rest for the Wicked will be playable on the Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and other handheld devices on April 18th. Based on the comments from Moon Studios co-founder Gennadiy Korol, you can expect to have around 30-40 fps depending on your quality settings, with some dips here and there during cinematics and in busier areas of the world. Here is the full quote from Gennadiy Korol with some additional information on the Steam Deck compatibility of No Rest for the Wicked:

We're getting 30-40fps on the Deck, depending on the quality with some dips to 20-25 fps. Some cinematics might dip more, but gameplay is very enjoyable thanks to our Game Simulation always running at locked 60fps, so the game input for the precision combat remains super responsive!

Bear in mind, this is not yet official-official as it's coming out hot and we will be working with Valve on official verification shortly.

Based on these comments, No Rest for the Wicked should be stable enough to play on the Steam Deck, but it won't be officially verified right on its release. If you find this problematic, you can always wait a bit for it to be officially verified by Valve, but it seems like the game will run fine on the Deck. Gennadiy also mentions that they will continue to optimize and patch the game with handheld devices in mind, and he hopes that they will "be able to get to that locked 40fps target sometime after launch."

That is everything you need to know about the Steam Deck compatibility of No Rest for the Wicked's Early Access release. With the game reportedly running at a somewhat stable 30 fps, you should be able to enjoy the world of Isola Sacra from the comfort of your handheld device.
