Before Counter-Strike 2 came out, Valve introduced a new mode called Premier. This mode was to replace FACEIT in the game and would show the top players in a region on a list.
Premier is meant to be more intense than the usual games. Players can ban maps and climb up both local and world lists. They also plan to connect this with bigger esports events. But there's a big problem with it.
Players say there's a bad issue in Premier. If you leave a match, you could lose between 800 to 1000 points. And sometimes, it's not even the player's fault.
People on the CSGO online forum say leaving a game makes them lose 1000 points. This is a lot compared to losing just 100 to 200 points if they lose a game.
There are many reasons someone might leave a game. Sometimes it's because players just quit. But many times, it's because of things they can't control like bad internet, being kicked out by other players, or game mistakes that might even ban them.
Players in Premier want Valve to change this big point loss that started with the new system.
