How to Unlock Superblack Shader

To obtain the Superblack shader, players must acquire two separate keys: the Superblack Key Alpha and the Superblack Key Omega. Each key is tied to a specific questline involving the new Onslaught game mode and the vendor Lord Shaxx and Arcite 99-40 in the Hall of Champions.

Superblack Key Alpha: Lord Shaxx and Onslaught

To earn the Superblack Key Alpha, players must engage with the new Onslaught game mode and increase their Hype rank with Lord Shaxx. As Guardians play rounds of Onslaught, their Hype meter will gradually fill up. Once the Hype rank reaches its maximum level, visit Lord Shaxx in the Hall of Champions and reset the rank to claim the Superblack Key Alpha along with other rewards.

Superblack Key Omega: Arcite 99-40's Quests

The Superblack Key Omega is tied to Arcite 99-40's vendor quests in the Hall of Champions. To obtain this key, players must complete all of the BRAVE weapon quests available throughout the Into the Light update. These quests are time-gated, with the final set of weapons becoming available on April 30. Upon completing all BRAVE weapon quests, return to Arcite 99-40 to claim the Superblack Key Omega from the Additional Rewards tab in his inventory.

It is important to note that due to the time-gated nature of Arcite 99-40's quests, players may need to wait until the end of April to fully unlock the Superblack shader. Additionally, there is a possibility that further steps may be required after obtaining both keys, However, this has not been officially confirmed by Bungie.
