The Diablo 4 Public Testing Realm (PTR) for Season 4 is going to be available on April 2nd and it will run for a full week until April 9th. This realm will be separate from the live game and it will only be available on PC. The PTR for Season 4 is going to contain most of the big changes that are happening to the game, including the new itemization rework, endgame additions, and class balancing. The idea behind adding a PTR for Diablo 4 is so players can test all of the new features early and provide direct feedback to developers, so they can improve upon all of the systems before the official release of the content.
Players who join the PTR are going to be able to instantly boost their characters to level 100, but the developers are also encouraging some testers to start the game fresh from the beginning.
