After many delays, Diablo 4 Season 4 has finally made its debut, and with the number of changes that have been made to the itemization system, as well as the newly updated Helltides, the game finally feels like it has found its place in the ARPG genre. Season 4 also brings a ton of new features to the table, including the Pit of Artificers endgame dungeon, the new crafting systems, and some very interesting updates to the endgame boss ladder, such as the new level 200 tormented versions of each fight.

Even though there have been many changes to how the entire boss ladder works in Season 4, the highlight is definitely the new Uber Andariel boss fight. Players have been waiting for this fight to become a part of the ladder ever since they first saw her back in the campaign, and the Diablo 4 team has finally added her. In this article, we will go over everything you need to know about the Uber Andariel boss fight, including her location, how to summon her, and the full list of items that can drop once you defeat her.

Uber Andariel Location & Summon Requirements

The location of Uber Andariel's boss arena can be found within the Hanged Man's Hall dungeon in the Scouring Sands zone of Kehjistan. The closest waypoint can be found in the city of Tarsarak, which is just west of the dungeon entrance. Once you enter the dungeon, you will find a few packs of enemies right before entering the boss arena, which contains the summoning altar.

In order to summon Uber Andariel, you are going to need two different resources, which drop from other endgame bosses:

• 2x Sandscorched Shackles: Dropped from the Lord Zir boss fight in World Tier 4.
• 2x Pincushioned Doll: Dropped from the Beast in the Ice boss fight in World Tier 4.

Since these resources require a lot of Nightmare Dungeon and World Boss farming, we highly recommend finding a group on Discord or any of the other Diablo 4 communities, as it will greatly increase the number of Uber Andariel kills you can do per hour. 

How to Summon Tormented Andariel

Tormented Andariel is a level 200 version of the original boss fight, making her much more difficult to defeat but also much more rewarding. You can summon the tormented version of Andariel through the same altar in her arena, but you are going to need three times as many materials, as well as 2 Stygian Stones. Stygian Stones can be found by completing the new Pit of Artificers endgame dungeon at higher levels. Here are the materials needed in order to summon Tormented Andariel:

• 6x Sandscorched Shackles
• 6x Pincushioned Doll
• 2x Stygian Stone

Each time you defeat Tormented Andariel you are going to receive 5 times the amount of loot, and for your first victory over him you are also going to be rewarded with a Resplendent Spark, which can be used to craft Uber Unique items, such as the Harlequin Crest.

Uber Duriel and Uber Andariel sit at the top of the boss ladder, providing the best rewards of any endgame activities. All items that drop from Uber Andariel are guaranteed to be Item Power 925, including Rares, Legendaries, and Uniques.

Uber Andariel also has two loot tables, one being similar to the other endgame bosses and providing you with a way to farm certain Unique items, and the other being explicitly for the strongest items in the game - Uber Uniques. These items are extremely powerful, and most of them can be used on nearly every build in the game.
