Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Get Mike Wazowski & Sulley

The recent Laugh Floor update for Disney Dreamlight Valley added plenty of new content from the beloved Pixar film Monsters Inc. Most notably, players can now unlock and recruit the iconic duo of Mike Wazowski and James P. “Sulley” Sullivan to live in their valley. It does take completing a few steps to make it happen, but it’s well worth the effort. This is the complete guide to unlock Mike Wazowski and Sulley in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Get Mike Wazowski and Sulley in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To start, you’ll need to have unlocked the Monsters Inc. realm, which costs 15,000 Dreamlight. Enter the realm and watch a short cutscene, then examine the large metallic door to trigger the “Escape Claws” questline.

Look in the nearby lockers to find monster accessories like ears and a hard hat. Equip these in your wardrobe to disguise yourself, then the door will open.

Inside, speak with Sulley and he’ll ask you to clean up some messy slug slime puddles using your watering can. Also, pick up scattered trash and party supplies. Report back to Sulley, who will then request you make some coffee:

• A regular black coffee for Sulley
• A non-dairy blend with three sugar for Mike

Deliver their drinks, but then Mike will somehow get trapped in the human world. Pick up the emergency manual on a nearby desk and give it to Sulley. You now have to locate three missing fuses scattered around the laugh floor and insert them into the fuse box. After reconnecting some power lines, Mike will reappear.

Eye on the Prize Questline

Finishing this quest will unlock “Eye on the Prize" questline. Talk to Mike again and he’ll task you with jimmying open the stuck reception door. Find the MIFT Toolkit in a red toolbox and use it to open the door and grab some keycards off the desk.

Mike will now have you investigate children's bedrooms for laugh-related clues. In each room, examine various toys, drawings, books, and report back to Mike what you discover. The final room is very messy so you will have to remove piles of clutter to uncover a whoopee cushion.

To wrap up, Mike strangely requests three soda cans from the vending machines in the reception area. The red and blue soda will be easily identified in the vending machine. However, you will need to get creative to fetch the green one by whacking the machine with a pickaxe.

Once you’ve delivered all three sodas, Mike and Sulley can finally move into the apartment you place in your own valley.

After building their living quarters, Sulley will automatically appear. But for Mike, you need to return to the Monsters Inc. realm one last time to take a selfie with him, which convinces him to join as well.

With that, two of Pixar’s most beloved characters are ready to settle down in your own Disney Dreamlight Valley! It takes jumping through some hoops across a few questlines, but the rewards are more than worthwhile. Mike and Sulley bring plenty of laughs and fun banter to the valley, in addition to new quests and activities to enjoy.
