Does Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.0 Have Co-Op?

Zenless Zone Zero is one of the biggest gacha releases for 2024, and following its release last week, it’s already welcomed over 50 million people from around the world.

With so many people playing, it is only natural that you’ll want to know if you can play with your friends and challenge difficult enemies together.

We hate to break it to you, but Zenless Zone Zero does not have a co-op mode in version 1.0.

Zenless Zone Zero Co-Op

Zenless Zone Zero was originally set to release with a co-op mode. From what we’ve seen from videos of the CBT3 for the game, ZZZ did offer a multiplayer option where you could challenge the Notorious Hunt bosses with your friends or even challenge others in the arcade games.

However, after the official release, players quickly noticed that the co-op feature was no longer there. As of version 1.0, you cannot invite friends to challenge Notorious Hunt bosses, nor can you play arcade games with others.

There is no information on why the co-op mode was scrapped, and we are still waiting for an official announcement from the developers.

Will ZZZ Have Multiplayer in the Future?

We honestly do not know. As of right now, there is no information about the state of the multiplayer feature, and it is a mystery whether the developers have fully scrapped it or are still working on it.

Given that the feature is currently not present, it would be best not to get your hopes up and expect that it will not be added in the future.

Despite this, we are still hopeful that the developers are still working on the feature rather than having fully discarded it.
