With Capcom due to launch Dragon's Dogma 2 in late March 2024, many potential players are eager to start. Fans of the first game have waited twelve years for the highly-anticipated sequel. Capcom wants to make the last two weeks a little easier for its fans, giving them a chance to go through the character creation now, saving time later.
Dragon's Dogma 2: What is the Character Creation and Storage Tool?
Dragon's Dogma 2 has a complex and very detailed character customization. Many have already praised the game for how much detail players can change and how good the created heroes look.
The only downside of having complicated character customization with a multitude of choices is the time it takes to perfect your hero. When playing a new game, some players want to start immediately. Now, while we wait for the release of Capcom's newest game, we can set up the Arisen, your main character, and our Pawn, your companion, so we can dive straight in.
The Character Creation and Storage tool will allow you to store up to five heroes and the same number of Pawns. You can play around with different builds, races, and vocations. When Capcom releases the game on 22 March, you will most likely have a few last-minute tweaks to make but it will save a few hours. You will transfer the data to Dragon's Dogma 2 and start.

The Character Creation and Storage tool is available for PC, PS5, and Xbox X/S. It's a free download. Grab it at the digital store and start whipping up some heroes for the incoming game.
Whether you want to make some beautiful characters or play around with what is possible to create, you can do it all with the tool. It might not be much, but it will give us something to do while we wait for the game on 22 March.
