This December, the classic Christmas film Elf is celebrating its 20th anniversary with some festive activations. Fans of the beloved Will Ferrell comedy can now experience the magic of the North Pole for themselves in Elf North Pole Workshop, a new Roblox game created in partnership with Warner Bros.
Elf Comes to Roblox for 20th Anniversary
Launching just in time for the holidays, Elf North Pole Workshop brings the cheer of the iconic movie into the popular online gaming platform, Roblox. Developed together by Fairview Portals and Supersocial studios, the game allows players to explore Santa's village as one of his little helpers.
Fans familiar with the 2003 film will recognize beloved characters like Leon the Snowman and Mr. Narwhal making special appearances. Composer John Debney has also contributed remixed versions of his whimsical score to capture the spirit of the film. Elf director Jon Favreau consulted on the design of the game’s set pieces and scenery as well.

Roles to Choose in Elf North Pole Workshop
In Elf North Pole Workshop, users can choose to take on one of three roles that are vital to Santa’s operation:
- Wish Taker
- Toy Maker
- Gift Wrapper
As players work together to fill the “Clausometer” with Christmas cheer, they’ll unlock special rewards and wearable accessories. The visual style also mirrors the movie’s classic stop-motion aesthetic.

The game is the latest in a slate of celebratory Elf-inspired collaborations organized by Warner Bros. for the 20th anniversary. From limited edition treats with Krispy Kreme to themed holiday decor with Pottery Barn, the studio has partnered with numerous brands to mark the occasion. An Elf re-release in theaters and heavy streaming on HBO Max have also contributed to the festivities.
