One of those resources is the [Ammonia Gland]. Ammonia Glands are an important resource as they are required for leveling up your Flame Altar which not only expands your build area, but increases your time in the shroud.

Where to Get Ammonia Glands
Ammonia Glands can be found inside the Shrouds in [Umber Hollow], [Highlands] and [Kindlewastes].
Out of these three we recommend [Umber Hollow] to be your primary farming ground as you can easily reach it from [Nomad Highlands Spire] by simply gliding down.
Inside the Shroud of [Unber Hollow] you will encounter red mushroom enemies that are going to be the target of your Ammonia Gland farm. These mushrooms drop the Ammonia Glands and you usually get 5 Ammonia Glands per a mushroom.
The best way to defeat these mushroom enemies is by focusing on their glowing parts. This will help you kill them faster and not struggle for too long.
We recommend using a ranged build when fighting them, as they are high level and you will need to kite them a lot with a melee build!

Where to Use Ammonia Glands
Ammonia Glands are used for upgrading your Flame Altar, however, apart from that they can also be used to craft items from the Tanning Station and the Alchemist. Some of these items include:
