FFXIV's patch 6.55 has introduced many new things, from MSQ progression and a new trial to new housing items and fancy Majestic Manderville Relic Weapons. However, one new feature tops them all. That is, of course, the new Lop Hop dance emote. This article covers all you need to know to get the new Lop Hop emote in patch 6.55!

FFXIV: How to Get the Lop Hop Emote?
To unlock the Lop Hop emote, players must complete a new Tribal Alliance quest called 'Dinner and Show.' This quest is available from Jammingway in Ultima Thule (X:27.5 Y:24.5). After completing Dinner and Show, a second quest will become immediately available. Finish this follow-up quest to get your Lop Hop emote!
However, a warning! The 'Dinner and Show' quest will only be available if you have already completed the Tribal Quests listed below, bringing your reputation level to Bloodsworn with the Loporrits, the Arkasodara, and the Omicron.
- Loporrits: Dreams Come True
- Arkasodara: The Hippo Riders
- Omicron: Life, the Universe, and Coffee Beans
FFXIV Endwalker Tribal Quests:
If you haven't yet unlocked the quests listed above, and still need to get Bloodsworn with the three Endwalker factions above, you'll have to do that first if you want to eventually get your paws on the Lop Hop emote! Here's how to start the Tribal Quests (to get Bloodsworn) with all of the above factions.
Arkasodara:
To begin the Arkasodara tribal quests, you need to first complete The level 90 MSQ quest 'Endwalker' and a few side quests chains in Thavnair:
- 'Steppe Child' (X:25.6, Y:36.1) & 'What's in a Parent' (X:29.2, Y:15.3) will lead you on to 'A Budding Adventure' (X:29.6, Y:17.2) and once complete you will unlock the tribe quest 'Hippos Born to Run' (X:25.3, Y:31.2)
Loporrits:
To begin the Loporrit tribal quests, you need to first complete The level 90 MSQ quest 'Endwalker' and a side quest chain in Mare Lamentorum:
- 'Name That Way' (X:22.0, Y:10.8) begins the quest chain for you to complete 'Dream a Little Dream' (X:14.9, Y:9.3) Then once complete you will unlock the tribe quest 'Must Be Dreaming(way)' which is in Old Sharlayan (X:11.7, Y:10.9)
Omicron:
To begin the Omicron tribal quests, you need to first complete The level 90 MSQ quest 'Endwalker' and a side quest chain which begins in Old Sharlayan:
- 'Where No Loporrit Has Gone Before' in Old Sharlayan (X:11, Y:13.8) begins the quest chain for you to complete 'The Café at the End of the Universe' in Ultima Thule (X:25.4, Y:26.3)
