Fortnite Complete 'Dummy's Joyride' Quests Guide - Chapter 5 Season 2

Season 3 of Chapter 5 is fast approaching, and nobody expected any content besides the last Weekly quests in Fortnite. Luckily enough, we got a new live Lightning Storm mini-event that is connected to what we did in the Story Quests and a brand new car questline titled 'Dummy's Joyride.' In these quests, you have to do various tasks from Dummy with a Sports Car.

This will probably be our introduction to the new vehicle-hijacking mechanic that is coming in Season 3. Completing these challenges will reward you with 100,000 XP, a Loading Screen, and two new Sprays. In this guide, we will show you exactly how to complete every quest from the 'Dummy's Joyride' questline so you don't waste your time.

How to Complete Every Dummy's Joyride Quest in Fortnite

The brand new 'Dummy's Joyride' questline consists of 11 challenges. You need to be in a Sports Car or another vehicle for 7 of them, while the other four are more general and not related. Before we start with the quests, I just want to clarify that a Sports Car is the two-seated vehicle, while a vehicle refers to the Sports Car, the Jeep-like car that has four seats, and the Dirt Bike. Here's how to complete every quest from the 'Dummy's Joyride' questline.

Fuel up Sports Car at gas stations

To complete the first quest, you need to fill up 50% of your Sports Car's gas tank. If your gas tank is full, simply drive next to a wall or a building and press shift to activate your Boost, which will deplete your fuel without you actually moving. There are currently 8 gas stations on the Fortnite map. Check out the image below for their exact locations.

Travel distance in a Sports Car

This quest is pretty simple. You just need to travel 3000 meters while driving a Sports Car.

Emote at Grim Gate, Brawler's Battleground, or Mount Olympus

This quest is relatively easy as well. You need to emote either at Grim Gate, Brawler's Battleground, or Mount Olympus. All of these are named locations and you can see them on your map, but for your convenience, we have highlighted them in the image below.

Destroy objects while in a vehicle

To complete this quest, you need to destroy 50 objects while in a vehicle. This one you can do with the bigger car as well. Simply destroy anything that can be broken with your vehicle. This means fences, carts, bushes, boxes, small trees, etc.

Deliver a Sports Car to Dummy

For this challenge, you need to bring a Sports Car to Dummy. Dummy is located at one of the gas stations, which is just west of the Lavish Lair named location. Check out the image below for the exact spot on the map.

Purchase items at vending machines or Mod Benches

If you are following our order, this quest can be completed at the same spot where Dummy is. If you are lucky, there will be a vending machine inside the Gas Station. Purchase any 7 items from it to complete the quest. If you are doing quests in a different order, you can purchase from different vending machines or purchase mods for your weapons at the Mod Benches inside the Weapon Bunkers.

Purchase services from Characters

Again, this quest can be done from Dummy. He offers the Prop Disguise service for 50 Gold Bars. Simply purchase it three times to complete this quest. If you are in another location, purchasing any three services from any NPC will also do the trick.

Damage opponents while in a vehicle

This is probably the hardest quest to complete. You need to deal 300 damage while in a vehicle. If you are playing with a friend, he can be the one driving while you shoot from the window. If you are alone, you have to drive to a player, switch seats, and shoot from the window. Repeat the process until you deal 300 damage.

Drive a Sports Car in different named locations

To complete this quest, you need to enter the area of four different named locations while driving a Sports Car. Named locations are the locations you see when you open up your map, like the Underworld, Grim Gate, Lavish Lair, etc.

Jump a Sports Car and travel 70 meters before landing

This quest requires you to travel 70 meters in a Sports Car before landing, which is essentially flying. The easiest way to do it is by driving to the top of a mountain and jumping off with your car while holding the Boost button. If you don't complete it on the first try, drive up again and repeat the process.

Spend bars in different matches

For this quest, you simply need to purchase 1 item from an NPC or a Vending Machine in 5 different matches.
