Fortnite Festival: How to Play with Friends

Fortnite Festival is the newest game mode to hit Fortnite! With sweet battle pass rewards via the 'Festival Pass,' songs from your favorite artists, and four instruments for you and your friends to master, Epic's new rhythmic game is not one you want to miss. So, how do you team up with friends and conquer the main stage?

How to Play Multiplayer:

Fortnite Festival is best enjoyed with a band, so make sure to invite your friends before queuing. You can team up as a squad of up to 4 players, or hit the stage as a solo no-fill.

Setting Up Your Festival:

Once in the Fortnite Festival lobby area, each player may select an instrument. There are no limits here! All 4 players can play the same instrument if that is what they prefer! Simply select your instrument of choice with the same controls you'd use to choose your weapons in Battle Royale.

Selecting Your Music in Multiplayer:

While in solos you'll get to pick all 4 songs on your setlist, in multiplayer, song choices will be split between all group members. For example in duos, each player will get to choose 2 songs each before your band takes to the stage.

Crossplay in Fortnite Festival:

Good news. Crossplay is perfectly functional in Fortnite Festival no matter what device you are connecting from. So, band up and get to it!
