Granblue Fantasy Relink: Best Id Build Guide

Id is one of Granblue Fantasy: Relink’s unlockable characters that you get after finishing the main story. He is able to deal huge amounts of damage both in his human and dragon forms, making him quite the joy to play with and look at.

In this guide we’ll go over everything you need to know about Id and how to build him properly to do a lot of damage. Let’s get started!

Who is Id

This mysterious swordsman stands in your way at every turn. Always calm and collected, nothing seems to faze him.

Id is a Greatsword wielding character using the Dark Element. He is the only character in Granblue Fantasy: Relink that has a transform mechanic tied to his kit, and he is one of the characters that you unlock after you have completed the story and not through Character Cards.

Id is a versatile character, being able to deal a lot of damage while also having great mobility and fast playstyle.

For those of you who like more nimble characters that can transform then Id is definitely that when it comes to Granblue Fantasy: Relink’s roster.

Id Best Skills

When it comes to Id’s skill we think that a good mixture of 3 DPS skill and an utility skill in the form of Ragnarok Form to instantly allow Id to go into his Dragon state without having to build up meter is the best choice for Id. Here is the full breakdown below!

Unbound

• Unleashes a frontal shockwave slash.

Never Enough

• Lunge at a foe and pummel them mercilessly. Restores Id's HP based on the damage he dealt.

Reginleiv Recidiv

• Fires a forward projectile.

Ragnarok Form

• Releases dragon power to instantly enter Dragonform. Fully restores the Versalis gauge if activated while in Godmight.

Id Best Weapon

When it comes to weapons for Id we suggest going with - [Susanno] his Ascension Weapon to further increase Id’s stats and even get Damage Cap to gain even more damage on him.

Ideally if you have had the chance of getting it, his Terminus weapon is by far his best choice, but not all of us can get that lucky. So until you manage to get that Susanno will be there to carry you.

Id Best Sigils

When it comes to Sigils Id shines best with Sigils that increase the damage of his combos as they are the most important part of his rotation, and of course Damage Cap sigils, as they increase the overall damage Id is able to dish out.

Versalis Ignition

• Grants Drain and Stout Heart to Id, and boosts his damage cap while in Godmight

Tyranny

• Reduces maximum base health in exchange for a boost to attack.

Damage Cap

• Raises the damage limit of attacks.

Combo Booster

• Gradually boosts damage of each successive hit. Effect resets if the next hit isn't made in time.

Combo Finisher

• Boosts the power of combo finishers.

Critical Damage

• Boosts damage dealt by critical hits.

Cascade

• Shortens skill cooldowns whenever you hit a foe. Effect strength changes based on the attack type.

Improved Dodge

• Extends the window for foe attacks to miss during a dodge. Allows you to perform more dodges in a row.

Summary

Id is a great character for those who like a fast play style and a lot of damage. He does exceedingly well when it comes to surviving and carrying the team. 

Thanks to his transformation Id has a wide access of skills, more so than other characters, however, this also makes him a bit harder to pick up than other characters in Relink.

Despite this, when mastered Id is a great choice that will help you through some of the tougher raids in Granblue Fantasy: Relink.
