What is Ultimate Difficulty
Ultimate Difficulty is the 4th and final difficulty setting in Granblue Fantasy: Relink. This difficulty setting only unlocks after you have cleared the story and offers a new challenge for players who wish to replay the story but with a bit more difficulty.
The Ultimate Difficulty features new challenges and stronger enemies for players to fight against with their now built characters. In return, it gives out good rewards for those who manage to actually complete it.

How to Unlock Ultimate Difficulty
Unlocking the Ultimate Difficulty in Granblue Fantasy: Relink is quite easy. When you first start the game you will be met with only three difficulty settings:
- Story
- Action
- Hard
You might wonder where the Ultimate Difficulty option is, but don’t worry the Ultimate Difficulty only unlocks after you have beaten Granblue Fantasy: Relink’s main story.
After completing the story of the game, you can go to the Quest Counter where you will have a new option called [Chapter Select] there you will be able to replay all of the Story chapters, while also being able to see all of the chests that you might have collected or missed and everything else.
On top of that you will now be able to select Ultimate Difficulty to replay the story in. After selecting Ultimate Difficulty, you will be thrust into the story and will have to fight even harder enemies for greater rewards!
