Hades 2: All Romances Options So far

During your playthrough of Hades 2, you don’t have to spend your whole time battling the forces of Chronos. You can have a rest and get to know some of the many characters of Greek Mythology. Whether you aim to spend a little alone time with them in the hot springs or you want to know more about their stories, you are going to want to know which characters you can romance.

Who You Can Romance in Hades 2

You can talk and give gifts to most characters in Hades 2 but some have a lot more to say. These are the people that might be interested in being a little more than friends.

• Hecate
• Odysseus
• Dora
• Eris
• Nemesis
• Moros

Please bear in mind that Hades 2 is still in early access so more romance options might be available at a later date. For now, we have six characters that are interested in more than simple friendship. 

How to Romance Characters in Hades 2

The best way to start investing in a friendship or more in Hades 2 is to give the character you like a gift. Nectar is the most common offering you will give people. The first time you give nectar to someone, in most cases they will give you a Keepsake. There will be times when the characters don’t want more nectar but they will let you know.

As you progress along the romance and storyline of Hades 2, you will unlock different ways to woo your favorite characters. Three facilities become available through certain Incantations throughout your playthrough. Each of these places will require a specific item to use. These are the three facilities that you can use to impress and bond with your romantic interests:

• The Hot Springs
• The Tavern
• The Fishing Pier

You will need Bath Salts to take a dip in the Hot Springs, Ambrosia to invite someone for a drink, and Twin Lures to go fishing. The Wretcher Broker sells them all after the respective building is unlocked.

If you are ever unsure what you have to do with each individual character, there is an Incantation you can perform. It will give you inside information about everyone’s relationship status and potential interest in you. It is called the Empath's Intuition. It won’t be available when you start Hades 2 but after a few hours of playtime, it should appear. You require 1x Fate Fabric and 3x Myrtle to cast the Incantation.

The Wretched Broker sells Fate Fabric but you will have to journey to the Fields of Mourning in the Underworld to pick Myrtle. When you have completed the spell, the Book of Shadows will now display what you need to do to impress your favorite character in Hades 2.

Be aware that sometimes the only thing you need to do is give your friend time alone before trying to romance them again. You can’t be in their faces all the time because that becomes stalking. Chronos is waiting for you and while flirting with different heroes, gods, and goddesses can be fun, you have to face him. I hope you found this guide helpful.
