One of the ways in which it differs from the original is all of the new resources and currencies that you can earn in each of your runs, which can be used to unlock new weapons and abilities, improving Melinoe's capabilities over time. Understanding which ones you should focus on collecting is going to make reaching and defeating Chronos a lot easier in the long run.

One of the main resources you are going to be using in Hades 2 is Nectar, and in this article, we are going to explain what it does, what it can be used for, and where you can find more of it!

Hades 2: What is Nectar?

Nectar is one of the main resources in Hades 2, and it can be used as a gift to all of the supporting characters in the game, which will increase your bond with them, unlocking new dialogue and earning you rewards. Each time you gift Nectar to a new character for the first time, you will receive a Keepsake, which are items that can be equipped before starting a run and during the intermission phases between zones. You can find these Keepsakes in a box on the west side of the training area. You can also increase your bonds with these characters even further if you continue gifting them Nectar, which can deepen relationships and begin new stories.

Hades 2: How to Get Nectar

While Nectar is still a fairly common item in the game, it is much harder to come by in Hades 2 than in the original. You can find Nectar as a reward in different locations during your runs, and it can also be bought from the Wretched Broker for 50 Bones. Nectar can also rarely be found inside of Charon's Shops. The final way of getting Nectar is a bit later into the game, and it's by using the 'Sweet Nectar' incantation from the Cauldron in the Crossroads. This incantation costs 1 Golden Apple, which is a reward for defeating Eris on the surface. Here is a quick overview of where you can find Nectar in Hades 2:
