Hearthstone Patch 29.0: Card Updates, New Core Set Rotation, Whizbang's Workshop's Release, and More

Hearthstone just celebrated its 10th Anniversary! Right in time for the celebration, the new 29.0 patch notes were released to set up the battlefields for the release of Whizbang’s Workshop. This patch serves as a transition for the next expansion and comes with some important card adjustments and exciting additions to the game. We summarised the most important changes below!

Hearthstone 29.0: Whizbang’s Workshop Catch-Up Packs

Catch-up Packs are well-known among old Hearthstone players. They have been a part of different sets in the past. In the Whizbang's Workshop Expansion, the Catch-Up Packs will contain 5-50 cards as usual which will be from the following Standard sets: Festival of Legends, TITANS, and Showdown in the Badlands.

10-Year Anniversary Card Pack

This new limited card back will be available after you complete a Legendary Quest as a reward for the celebration.

Signature Card Frame Update

Whizbang’s Workshop comes with another surprise. There will be a new frame for all future Signature cards. Something unique about those frames is the shape of the rarity gems will differ based on the rarity of the card.

Get ready for the launch of Whizbang's Workshop expansion in Hearthstone on March 19! You still have some time to get a pre-purchase bundle and access early some of the upcoming cards. From March 26 to April 16, you will be able to complete Event Quests and win various rewards, including 5 Standard Packs, 2 Whizbang’s Workshop Packs, and the Bobble Mal’Ganis Warlock Hero Skin.
