Helldivers 2 has a plethora of enemies that range from giant bugs to advanced Automatons. They come in different shapes and sizes with a wide array of strengths and weaknesses. Despite this, they all have one thing in common. They are the enemy of democracy and deserve to die. At least that is what Super Earth tells us.

If you find yourself coming up against Hunters, they might swarm you and can be surprisingly deadly. Like with all Terminids, you will want to try to deal with them at a distance but unlike the basic drones, the Hunters will avoid your gunfire and close in for the kill. How to Kill Hunters in Helldivers 2

You will be able to find Hunters on almost all planets in Terminid space in Helldivers 2. They are the fast-moving orange bugs that usually travel in packs so do be careful if you are on the hunt. Putting down sentries is one of the best tactics against the Hunters if they are in large numbers.

You can use your primary or secondary weapons to take them down with ease because they have low hitpoints. As with all bugs, they will try and kill you through numbers, not by strength. Stratagems like Eagle Airstrike or Gas Strikes can even the odds if you come up against a swarm but as long as you keep on the move, you shouldn’t struggle too much.

Aim for the heads to take them down faster but you will only need a few shots if you prefer the spray-and-pray tactic. Don’t waste your support weapon’s ammo on the Hunters because you will need it for the bigger enemies like the Bile Titans. A shotgun or assault rifle will do the job.
