Helldivers 2 is a team-based shooter at its core, because mulching bugs just isn't the same without buddies. Here's how to invite your friends and stomp bugs whether you're playing from PC or PlayStation.
How to Invite Friends in Helldivers 2
When in-game, simply open the 'Options' menu and navigate to the 'Social' tab. This is where you'll find your existing friends list, as well as any players you've recently played with. Inviting those players is as simple as clicking and hitting 'Invite to Squad.'
In the Social menu, you can also manage incoming Friend Requests and your Blocked Players list.

Helldivers 2: How to Invite Crossplay Friends
In the image below, you'll notice we've highlighted the 'Friend Code' field. This is where you or your friends must click 'Generate' to get their unique Friend Code.
Once you know your friend's Friend Code, you can input their code into the 'Search' field at the top-left of the Social tab to find them. From there, inviting them to your squad is easy! Happy bug hunting, and good luck.
