Honkai Star Rail just dropped a huge bomb of a revelation by suddenly announcing Acheron’s drip marketing earlier today on January 23rd, 2024.
Given that Acheron has just been announced by HoYoverse themselves we are free to make several suggestions on her release date, banner, and more. In this article, we’ll go over all you need to know about Acheron.

Who is Acheron
A drifter claiming to be a Galaxy Ranger. Her true name is unknown, and she walks the cosmos alone, carrying with her a long sword.
Though aloof and taciturn, her blade flicks out like lashing lightning. And yet, she always strikes with her scabbard, never drawing the sword free.
Acheron is going to be the newest 5-star Lightning character joining the Honkai: Star Rail roster and adding to the already expansive Path of Nihility users.
From what we know about her, she is going to play a big role in Version 2.0 and will be on the main characters appearing in Penacony. This is what we know about her kit and skills.

Acheron’s Kit and Skills
From what we’ve gathered acheron will be a Nihility unit that works somewhat differently than any other character in the game in that she will not gather energy to cast her Ultimate, but will be reliant on stacks, known as [Flowers], here is the full breakdown of her current kit.

Acheron Skills
Normal Attack:
- Performs a single target attack against an enemy. The target of this attack receives 1 Flower.
Skill:
- Performs a blast attack against the enemies. The primary target of this attack receives 2 Flowers.
Ultimate:
- Acheron reduces the DMG RES of all enemies during the duration of the ult. All attacks performed during this ult will ignore Weakness Types. Acheron performs 4 distinct actions in quick succession:
- Action 1: Perform a 2-hit attack against the enemy with the most flowers, reducing their flower count by 3. Perform an AoE attack with the damage ratio scaled based on the number of flowers that were reduced.
- Action 2: Perform a 3-hit attack against the enemy with the most flowers, reducing their flower count by 3. Perform an AoE attack with the damage ratio scaled based on the number of flowers that were reduced.
- Action 3: Perform 1-hit attack against the enemy with the most flowers, reducing their flower count by 3. Perform an AoE attack with the damage ratio scaled based on the number of flowers that were reduced.
- Action 4: Perform 2-hit AoE attack against all enemies.
Talent:
- Acheron starts with 0 flowers. She does not use energy and cannot receive energy. Her actions apply flowers to enemies until a total of 9(?) are on the field. When an enemy dies, their remaining flowers are transferred to the enemy with the most flowers. At max flowers, she gains the ability to ult.
Technique:
- Upon entering combat, Acheron generates N* flowers applied to the highest ranking enemy.

Acheron Potential Possible Release Window
Given that we already have confirmation that Black Swan and Sparkle will be appearing in Version 2.0 of Honkai: Star Rail, and with the timing of Acheron’s drip marketing, it is almost safe to assume that Acheron will be making an appearance in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1 sometime in March!
Given that her drip marketing was the first to be announced we can speculate that she will appear in Phase One of Version 2.1, which given Honkai: Star Rail's update cycle is likely to be released on March 27, 2024.
It should be noted that this is just a guess and that the final date is subject to change.

How to Get Acheron
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1 is likely to start around the end of March, and our speculation is:
March 27th, 2024
Given that Acheron’s drip marketing came first, we can surely expect her to be in the first phase of this patch, meaning players will be able to get their hands on her just as Version 2.1 drops.
During that time you will have three weeks to get Acheron. However, thanks to Honkai: Star Rail’s biggest Version update yet in 2.0 you are bound to get a ton of Stellar Jade to get ready for her!
