Honkai Star Rail: Sparkle Best Build Guide, Kit & Teams

Sparkle is the newest 5-star Harmony character to join the Honkai: Star Rail roster and is one of the more expected characters to come out recently.

She is a great team wide support unit that does great in many teams and finally makes the mono quantum possible.

Who is Sparkle

Sparkle is one of the characters that got introduced with Version 2.0 and the reveal of Penacony, she is one of the supporting characters that appears in the story and has a ton of mystery surrounding her, which we hope will be revealed in the later stages of the story.

Sparkle is a great unit for those looking for a powerful support for their teams, and is overall a great character to pull for if you have been saving your Stellar Jade.

In this guide we’ll go over her best Relic Sets, Light Cones and Team Comps so that you can make the most out of your Sparkle.

Sparkle Abilities and Kit

To put it simply, Sparkle’s kit is a unique take on Bronya’s kit that takes the best of what Bronya has to offer and just makes it better.

Sparkle has a unique mechanic in which not only does she buff your team a lot, but is also able to supply them with a ton of Skill Points, even raising your new max cap of Skill Points to 7.

Sparkle Skills

ATK

Monodrama

• Deals Quantum DMG equal to 50% (100%) of Sparkle's ATK to a single target enemy.

• Increases the CRIT DMG of a single ally by 12% (24%) of Sparkle's CRIT DMG plus 27% (45%), lasting for 1 turn(s). And at the same time, Advances Forward this ally's action by 50%.
• When Sparkle uses this ability on herself, the Action Advance effect will not trigger.

ULT

The Hero with a Thousand Faces

• Recovers 4 Skill Points for the team and grants all allies Cipher. When allies with Cipher trigger the DMG Boost effect provided by Sparkle's Talent, each stack additionally increases its effect by 6% (10%), lasting for 2 turns.

TECH

Unreliable Narrator

• Using the Technique grants all allies Stealth for 20 seconds. Characters in Stealth will not be detected by enemies, and entering battle while in Stealth recovers 3 Skill Point(s) for the team.

• While Sparkle is on the battlefield, additionally increases the max number of Skill Points by 2. Whenever an ally consumes 1 Skill Point, all allies' DMG increases by 3% (6%). This effect lasts for 2 turn(s) and can stack up to 3 time(s).

• When using Basic ATK, additionally regenerates 10 Energy.

• The CRIT DMG Boost effect provided by the Skill lasts until the start of the target's next turn.

• Increases all allies' ATK by 15%. When there are 1/2/3 Quantum allies in your team, Quantum-Type allies' ATK are increased by 5%/15%/30%.

Sparkle Best Light Cones

Falling under the Harmony Path, which is one of the more general paths when it comes to Light Cones, Sparkle has a ton, and we mean a ton of great choices that she can use for her Light Cones.

Although her Signature Light Cone is by far the best, she has some great picks both slightly premium and F2P.

Earthly Escapade

• Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 40%. The wearer gains Mask at the beginning of battle. While the wearer has Mask, the wearer's allies have their CRIT Rate increased by 10% and CRIT DMG increased by 24% for 4 turn(s). Whenever the wearer recovers a Skill Point (including Skill Points exceeding the limit), they gain a stack of Fireworks, and when the wearer has 4 Fireworks stacks, removes all the stacks and gains Mask.

The Battle Isn't Over

• Increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 10% (18%) and regenerates 1 Skill Point when the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally.
  This effect can be triggered after every 2 uses of the wearer's Ultimate.
  When the wearer uses their Skill, the next ally taking action (except the wearer) deals 30% (50%) more DMG for 1 turn(s).

Dance! Dance! Dance!

• When the wearer uses their Ultimate, all allies' actions are Advanced Forward by 16%.

• When the wearer uses their Skill, the next ally taking action (except the wearer) deals 16% increased DMG for 1 turn(s).

 

Sparkle Best Relic Sets

Similar to other support characters there is not much to say about relic sets for Sparkle.

Her best option is by far the Messenger Traversing Hackerspace and there is no set that comes close to it, so we highly recommend you farm that one.

For Planar Ornaments the Broken Keel gives by far the most utility, but you can also go for the Penacony set as well.

Messenger Traversing Hackerspace

• 2-Piece: Increases SPD by 6%.

• 4-Piece: When the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally, SPD for all allies increases by 12% for 1 turn(s). This effect cannot be stacked.

Broken Keel

• Increases the wearer's Effect RES by 10%. When the wearer's Effect RES is at 30% or higher, all allies' CRIT DMG increases by 10%.

• 2-Piece: Increases wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. Increases DMG by 10% for all other allies that are of the same Type as the wearer.

As already mentioned, Sparkle can fit almost any team composition and will do great. She is not only able to boost your team’s Crit DMG, but also manipulate turn order, increase Speed and give a ton of Skill Points.
