How To Get Anguish in Remnant 2 - The Awakened King

Embark on a quest to find the secret weapon Anguish in Remnant 2: The Awakened King. This journey, filled with twists and turns, takes you across different worlds and modes.

Step-by-Step Guide:

Start a New Campaign

• Progress until you reach Root Earth and stop at the checkpoint just after the train yard encounter.

Find Ethereal Manor in Losomn

• Switch to Adventure Mode and keep rerolling until Ethereal Manor event appears in one of the Losomn fire dungeons map - Sunken Haunt, Cotton's Kiln, Derelict Lighthouse and Butcher's Quarter.

• Inside the Manor, approach the seated NPC on the second floor. He will grab you, and you will then respawn in a different version of the Manor.

• Use the Liquid Escape consumable.

• When you are ready to leave, travel to Ward 13 using the checkpoint. 

Remember, don't die or the quest resets!

Meet the Dran in Ward 13

• Find the Dran near a flaming barrel in Ward 13 and interact with him.

Encounter the Dran in The Red Throne (Yaesha)

• Roll Yaesha in Adventure Mode until you have the Red Empress story line.

• Spawn in at the Red Throne and head towards the prison section. You will find the Dran in a room, propped against the wall.

Speak to the Dran in The Labyrinth

• Return to the campaign and reach the Fractured Ingress checkpoint in the Labyrinth.

• Find the Dran at the overlook behind the large portal, located just past the stairs, and speak with him.

Locate the Dran in Forgotten Prison (N'Erud)

• Roll N'Erud in Adventure Mode to start with Forgotten Prison.

• Play through the Tal Ratha story and meet the Dran near the checkpoint before the boss fight.

Revisit Root Earth for Dran Encounter

• Go back to your campaign and to the Root Earth checkpoint.
• Find and interact with the Dran near the fence.

Meet the Dran in the Tormented Asylum (Losomn)

• Roll Losomn in Adventure Mode to start with Morrow Parish.

• Follow the Nightweaver story to the Tormented Asylum and talk to the Dran in an alcove on the right.

Use Dran's Dream

• The final Dran interaction gives you Dran's Dream.

• Use it to reach an area called the Forgotten Null, where you can collect the Occult Vessel located next to the sitting Dran.

• Take the material to McCabe in Ward 13 to craft the Anguish weapon.
