Get Speed Increasing Furniture

One of the fastest ways to permanently increase your ship’s speed is by installing Navigation Furniture that has stamina or speed effects. By using these furniture you will permanently be able to increase your ship’s speed and help you on long journeys. Here are some Navigation Furniture that we recommend:

  • Sterile Galley
  • Rope Locker
  • Balanced Mast

[Sterile Galley] will increase your max stamina by 7%, while [Rope Locker] will give you an amazing 300% acceleration when your trim is activated. Though note that this will instantly take 5% of your total stamina, but with the increase from Sterile Galley you should be fine!

And [Balanced Mast] is just a nice 8% boost to both Acceleration and Deceleration.

Sail with the Wind

When sailing in Skull and Bones sometimes you will find that your speed meter has a green arrow pointing north. This means that you are sailing with the wind and that you can reach a higher speed than normal!

Note that sailing against the wind will in turn lower your speed and make you go slower while also consuming more stamina. In this case the arrow will show up as red to show that you are going against the wind and you will have clouds obscuring your vision.
