Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the next chapter in the renowned Assassin’s Creed series, is on its way to consoles and PC. But is there any chance of it gracing the Nintendo Switch? Here's what we've learned about the possibility of playing Assassin’s Creed Mirage on this hybrid device.
The latest entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, is scheduled for release in October. It seems to be returning to the series' more linear roots, in contrast to the open-world approach seen in recent titles like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
The game is confirmed for release on consoles and PC through Steam. However, if you're someone who enjoys gaming on the go, you might be curious about its availability on Nintendo's portable console.
Is Assassin’s Creed Mirage Coming to Nintendo Switch?
Unfortunately, at least for now, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will not be released on the Nintendo Switch.
The game is set to launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. So, you still have several alternatives if you're eager to embark on Bisam's journey. While it might be disappointing for Switch enthusiasts not to have Mirage on their portable device, there's a variety of platforms to choose from.
Although a few Assassin’s Creed titles have made their way to the hybrid console in recent years, such as Black Flag and The Ezio Collection, the absence of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on the platform suggests that Mirage is unlikely to receive a Switch port anytime soon.
