Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Release Date Speculation - All We Know So Far

Six long years have passed since the release of the instant cult-classic Kingdom Come: Deliverance and, at last, Warhorse Studios have confirmed the upcoming sequel. Players will be rejoining Henry in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and taking up the mantle of a knight in this gritty RPG, renowned for its brutal focus on realism.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Story and Setting

While the scope of the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance game was relatively small, as expected of a game produced by a starting team of 11, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 promises to massively expand both the narrative and game world.

The map is said to be twice the size of that in the original KCD.

The stories we'll partake in are no longer those of lowly lords, but of kings, promising an epic narrative for Henry supplemented by nearly double the duration of in-game cutscenes.

In addition, player agency is being pushed more than ever in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Players will be able to customize and specialize Henry's skills and proficiencies throughout their grueling journey. There will also be reputation systems, meaning if you spend a little too much time drinking ale, thieving, and being an all-around miscreant, your antics might just attract the wrong kind of attention.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Release Date Speculation:

As yet, there is no confirmed release date for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. 

However, Warhorse Studios has promised that the game will launch sometime during 2024. Given all that was revealed in the announcement trailer, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 looks very far along in terms of development and is likely in the latter stages of QA and optimization. Note that this is purely a speculative guess and it should be taken with a grain of salt.

That said, our best guess for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's release dates would be either an Autumn release in September or, perhaps more likely, a pre-Christmas release at either the end of November or early December. We'll just have to remain patient until we have final confirmation from Warhorse Studios! Note that this is purely a speculative guess and it should be taken with a grain of salt.
