There are a total of seven item rarities in Last Epoch, identifiable by color:

How to Farm All Item by Their Rarities in Last Epoch

Early Game: Common and Magic Items

During the campaign, focus on Common and Magic drops to increase core stats. Magic items have one to two random affixes so inspect drops for upgrades. Defeat enemies and complete quests to obtain frequent Common and Magic drops. Magic items can also be crafted into Rare items later by adding affixes to them.

Midgame: Welcome Rare Drops

Rare items become more prominent midgame. They drop often from trash mobs, bosses, or echo rewards. Use Rare items until acquiring higher rarities for the end-game. These rare items can also be crafted but are mainly farmed from all sources.

Endgame: Better Gear
