Lux receiving a skin has turned into a running joke within the League of Legends community. It's true, this champion does have a lot of cosmetics to choose from, sharing the first place for most skins with Miss Fortune. However, we must admit that Yone is coming for their gig with the recent almost monthly skin releases he gets. In this article, we will take a look at the 10 best Lux skins in LoL so you know where to spend your RP. There's a lot to unpack so let's go:
-
Soul Fighter Lux
Price: 1350 RP
Soul Fighter is a LoL skin line heavily inspired by Japanese fighting games. This is the first out of three 'anime' looks we will see Lux sport in this chart. Many League of Legends players think Akali and Lux should've swapped their skin line releases in 2023, with Akali joining 'Soul Fighter' and Lux being a part of 'Coven'. Lux is supposedly in the role of the 'zoner' in this fictional fighting game. It's a nice skin; however, it might leave you uninspired if you're not a fan of this specific aesthetic. The outfit is very teenager-like, fitting the narrative Riot was going for. We're kind of on the verge about this one, and it depends on your personal taste.

- Cosmic Lux
Price: 1820 RP
Cosmic Lux is the less sassy and iconic version of Dark Cosmic Lux. Don't get us wrong though—it's still a beautiful skin. It's ethereal and magical, just like Lux herself. The moving stars on her clothes really pull the whole look together. It probably would've ranked even higher if its dark version didn't overshadow it that much.

Prestige / Battle Academia Lux
Price: 200 mythic essence / 1350 RP
Prestige Battle Academia Lux is the second anime-inspired Lux look. It's exactly what you can expect from a Japanese series about Battle Academia. Both skins are pretty great, but the Prestige one seems way more put together, and it stands out thanks to its gold and bright colors. Battle Academia Lux is a less polished but more 'down-to-earth' schoolgirl look. What's really cute about this skin is the way Lux heads to the lane, holding a piece of bread in her mouth, just like an anime character running late to school.
-
Pajama Guardian Lux
Price: 1350 RP
Pajama Guardian is the..., well, pajama version of the Star Guardian skin line. It's probably one of the cutest League of Legends aesthetics, along with 'Cafe Cuties'. Lux is wearing an adorable onesie and matching loafers. Some love it, some hate it, but that's classic Lux right there.

Star Guardian Lux
Price: 1350 RP
This skin might be old, but it's Lux at her finest—bright, girly, bubbly, and even a little cheesy. Yeah, currently it looks way less polished compared to newer Star Guardian skins, but this one is a classic, and classics never get too old. It's campy. It's such a Lux stereotype and that's what makes it good.

Porcelain Lux
Price: 1350 RP
Lux joined the Porcelain skin line in 2022 with an elegant look. The flowers that appear with ability visual effects are an amazing touch. The chromas for Porcelain Lux really elevate the whole look and make it look like it's not even a part of this skin line. The Prestige version of this skin is also great. However, it's not that different, offering Lux a different chroma and hairstyle. The original skin sticks to cold colors, while the Prestige Porcelain Lux is warm and welcoming.

Lunar Empress Lux
Price: 1350 RP
Lunar Empress Lux stands out with grace and elegance. There's something so gentle and beautiful about this skin. It's fun, yet regal. You can't go wrong with this skin. It's simply a masterpiece, from the splash art to the recall animations, featuring two little puppies with golden crowns—puppy Nasus and puppy Warwick.

Space Groove Lux
Price: 1350 RP
Some LoL players think the Space Groove skin line is cheesy; however, we might argue that it's one of the current most fun series the game has going on. The bright colors, the mix of glitter and neon, along with the '60s futuristic aesthetics, straight out of The Jetsons, make this line a masterpiece. Lux is simply adorable in this skin. Her hair is in space buns, and she's wearing roller skates. This is also probably one of the few skins that look better than all of its chromas.

Dark Cosmic Lux
Price: 1820 RP
We already talked about Cosmic Lux, but its dark and corrupted version takes the cake. With brighter and warmer colors, Dark Cosmic Lux is way more eye-catching. The skin is dark and mysterious—two words we're not used to associating with the bubbly Lux.

Elementalist Lux
Price: 3250 RP
Is anyone surprised? This Lux skin brings 10 elemental forms for the champion. You start off with a default 'Light' Lux, and by the 10-15 second mark (depending on your damage), you get to choose an element. In the second phase, you'll get to combine this element with another one, reaching your final form. Each one has elemental effects and special VO. The skin is a bit outdated, being released in 2016, and it definitely needs a rework, but it's still the standard for what Ultimate Skins should be like. Here are all the possible Elementalist Lux Combinations:
- Air + Fire = Storm
- Air + Water = Ice
- Air + Nature = Dark
- Fire + Water = Dark
- Fire + Nature = Magma
- Water + Air = Ice
- Water + Nature = Mystic
