That's why we've split up this guide into early, middle, and late-game sections, as each stage has different efficient ways to farm for cash. Early Game: Combat Encounters

The best way to earn some cash in the earlier stages of the game is definitely through combat encounters. While there are some mini-games and activities, like Crazy Delivery, they are nowhere near as efficient as just smacking enemies with your bat. Dondoko Island is an Animal Crossing-style mini-game that you can unlock at the start of Chapter 6. There, you can gather resources like wood and stone and build different structures, with the ultimate goal of creating a 5-star resort for guests to visit and spend their money.

At this point in the game, you likely have a couple of thousand dollars in your pocket. By reaching the final rank of the resort, you will be rewarded with a whopping $500,000. The Haunt works in a very similar way to other dungeons in the JRPG genre, allowing you to explore and fight your way through a long series of levels, with some objectives and mini-bosses scattered throughout it.

While we are suggesting this as a late-game method of farming cash, you can definitely make use of this dungeon throughout the entire game. There are different tiers of difficulty based on the level of your characters, with the earliest one being recommended for around level 18.
