In the unforgiving realm of Lords of the Fallen, your survival hinges on the strength of your weapons. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or just starting your journey, this comprehensive guide is your key to mastering the art of weapon enhancement.

Before you can begin upgrading your weapons, you need to rescue the imprisoned blacksmith. By doing this, you will unlock the workshop for your weapon upgrades.

How to Unlock Gerlinde, the Blacksmith

1. Defeat Pieta: Start by defeating the boss Pieta.

2. Find the Vestige of Blind Agatha: After defeating Pieta, return to your hub area. Look for a location called Pilgrim's Perch Bellroom along a cliff. You'll discover the Vestige of Blind Agatha there. Engage and defeat the nearby enemies.

3. Locate the Blacksmith: Descend into a cage using the nearby lift. You'll find the blacksmith and other captives. To free them, you'll need a Prison Cell key, which you can obtain by defeating an enemy named Pureblade, who wields a mace and shield. Start by taking down the dog minions, then tackle the main enemy.

4. Free the Prisoners: Once you have the key, use it to unlock the cells, including the one holding Gerlinde, the blacksmith. This action will unlock the workshop, and you can access it. Warp back to your main hub after this.

Step 2: Upgrading Your Weapons

Before you dive into upgrading your weapons, you'll need two important things: Vigor and Deralium Ore, which is a refining material. Deralium Ore comes in various types.
