MultiVersus is finally out and fans are excited! Well, maybe a bit less excited after the major server crash that followed the official launch of the game today.

The release of the MultiVersus was scheduled for May 28, 2024, and everything was going smoothly until players tried to connect to the game. The servers ran into a major issue that could not be fixed immediately, so MultiVersus had to be taken into maintenance mode.

Right after the servers crashed, MultiVersus made a post on X explaining that the game was entering maintenance mode for 30 minutes, so they could work on the issue.

Heads up MVPs, we’re taking the game into maintenance mode for the next 30 minutes or so! We’ll notify you all once maintenance has been completed.
