Why Doesn't MW3 Use the Real Names of Guns?
While some fans desire the return of original weapon names, licensing names involves costs for Activision. Moreover, due to an increase in shooting incidents in the United States, video games like COD, GTA, and CS have been brought up in trials. In response, many weapon brand teams opted to distance themselves from gaming to avoid potential legal issues.
