MW3 & Warzone x Gundam Crossover: Potential Release Date, Cosmetics, and More

Call of Duty fans are in for a treat as the crossover between the iconic FPS franchise and the legendary Mobile Suit Gundam series is set to launch with Season 4. The crossover will bring Gundam-themed content to Modern Warfare 3, Warzone, and Warzone Mobile offering players the chance to suit up as their favorite Gundam suits on the battlefield.

MW3 & Warzone x Gundam Potential Release Date

While an exact release date for the Gundam content has not been announced, Season 4 is scheduled to begin on May 29th, 2024.

However, the crossover event, titled Mobile Suit Gundam Legends, will run from June 5th, 2024, to June 19th, 2024, granting players with the RX-78-2, Zaku II, or Aerial skins an XP boost which can be used to unlock Gundam-themed rewards.

MW3 & Warzone x Gundam Skins and Cosmetics

Three Mobile Suit Gundam Tracer Packs will be available during Season 4 each featuring a different iconic mobile suit:

Tracer Pack: Mobile Suit - RX-78-2 

Amuro Ray's classic suit comes with blueprints for the Beam Rifle, Beam Saber, RX-78-2 Shield, and the Newtype Finisher move.

Tracer Pack: Mobile Suit – MS-06S Zaku II

Char Aznable's infamous red Zaku II brings the Zaku Machine Gun, Heat Hawk melee weapon, Warship Destroyer rifle, and Searing Slash finishing move.

Tracer Pack: Mobile Suit – XVX-016 Gundam Aerial

Representing Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, this pack includes the Aerial's Beam Rifle, Rebuild Rifle, Escutcheon, and themed vinyl, stickers, and charms.

Each pack will also include a Calling Card, Emblem, Loading Screens, Weapon Stickers, Weapon Charms, and Large Decals allowing players to fully customize their operators and weapons with Gundam flair.

Gundam Iconic Legacy

The Mobile Suit Gundam anime is currently celebrating its 45th anniversary making this crossover event a perfect tribute to the enduring legacy of the franchise. Call of Duty has previously collaborated with other major pop culture franchises as well, such as King Kong, Dune, and The Boys, but the Gundam crossover will probably be one of the most exciting.

With Season 4 just around the corner, Call of Duty players won't have to wait long to get their hands on the Gundam-themed content. Whether you're a longtime Gundam fan or just love the idea of stomping around the battlefield in a giant mecha, this collaboration event is not to be missed.
