New Blade Game Developed by Arkane Announced At TGA 2023

We definitely did not have a new Blade game in our Game Awards 2023 bingo card this year. A collaboration between Marvel Studios and game development studio Arkane was announced at around the mid-point of The Game Awards 2023 show. Here is everything we know about the new Blade game, which is currently in development:

The newly revealed game is set to be a mature, singleplayer, third-person action experience, focusing on the iconic vampire hunter. Arkane Studios, known for its work on titles like Arx Fatalis, the Dishonored series, the 2017 Prey reboot, and Deathloop, has ventured into the Marvel universe for its latest venture.

Despite its prestigious game development history, Arkane Studios faced criticism for its recent release, Redfall, which was released way too early, filled with bugs and poorly optimized.

The developers on stage also announced that the game is going to be set in the 'heart of Paris'. Despite there not being a ton of information available at this point, we are very interested to see how the development of this game turns out, as Blade is one of the most popular Marvel characters since the early 90s.
