New Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth Skins in Apex Legends

The Lifestream is coming to Apex Legends! In an event that promises some of the most epic skins Apex has ever seen, Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth teams up with the Apex games, and it's happening sooner than you think. So, here's everything we know about the upcoming crossover.

The Event Dates:

The FF7-Apex crossover event goes live on the 9th of January, so be there to claim your skins and cash-in on the hype! It's unclear as yet if new game modes will be introduced as part of the event.

The New Skins:

So far, the best we can do are the skins that were revealed in the Game Awards event trailer. Those are as follows:

Crypto:

Crypto looks to be the lucky legend donning the Cloud Strife attire, and Respawn have even gone as far as to add the fabled Buster Sword! While it seems unlikely that this sword will provide any benefit in combat (though we'd love to be proven wrong), this is gorgeous as a cosmetic alone!

Horizon:

Horizon gets FF7's purest soul, Aerith! While the red jacket and taut leggings have taken on a more combat-ready style than the garb of her Final Fantasy counterpart, the look is at least complete with a pink ribbon in Horizon's hair.

Wraith:

What skin could possibly better suit Wraith than the blood-red attire of FF7's biggest edgelord, Vincent Valentine.
