New FromSoftware Job Listings Opened - Elden Ring DLC Soon?

FromSoftware, known for creating popular titles like Elden Ring and Dark Souls, is opening its doors to new talents. A recent report by IGN reveals that the studio is making room for fresh faces and talents across various departments, fueling speculation that exciting developments may be in the works.

The game studio is renowned for its Souls series and other hits like Armored Core. Now, with these job listings, it seems they're gearing up for something big. IGN's report states that FromSoftware is on the hunt for individuals in a wide array of roles, spanning "game planning, research and development, programming, character design, background design, cinematic art, motion design, production, sound design, and more than a dozen other departments."

While they recently launched Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, they've yet to officially unveil any projects beyond Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, which remains without a confirmed release date.

The studio's expansion could lead to various possibilities. Fans might be hoping for new installments in the Dark Souls series. However, what many truly desire is an addition to the Bloodborne series, or perhaps even a remastered version of the original game.

Bloodborne, originally released on the PlayStation 4 in 2015, has since become a beloved title among fans of Souls-like games. While it's currently available on PS5 through backward compatibility, it still runs at the 30 frames-per-second of the original release.

A return to the worlds of Bloodborne, Dark Souls, or even 2019's Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice would be met with enthusiasm by gamers worldwide. But FromSoftware's creative prowess may also lead them to develop a new intellectual property, showcasing their talent for the Souls-like formula across various settings.

The next chapter in FromSoftware's journey will undoubtedly make headlines among gamers. Many are eagerly awaiting news about the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, which may be announced at The Game Awards later this year.
