Following the launch of Starfield, Bethesda promised to provide regular updates. However, recently, fans have been feeling a bit disappointed. The previous Patch 1.7.33 introduced only a few changes to Starfield, and the following patch was even smaller, which left fans wanting more.
Thankfully, the wait for exciting news is over. Bethesda has decided to end the silence and announced an upcoming update via Twitter.

Bethesda shared that its team has been working hard on these new updates and will soon run a Steam Beta for the latest version of Starfield. While we don't know much about the content of the patch yet, one highly requested feature has been confirmed.
“This update will feature Nvidia DLSS support with frame generation, display, and HDR controls for supported systems, and other optimizations and improvements,” explained Bethesda. They also added that AMD FSR3 support would be introduced “in a future update.”
PC players in the discussion expressed their excitement for the addition of DLSS support. Still, most Starfield fans were particularly interested in the “other optimizations and improvements” mentioned by Bethesda.
“Hopefully, they have fixes for game-breaking bugs in the works. My saved game is so buggy,” one player commented. Others expressed their hope that the update would address a persistent issue where asteroids seem to follow your ship.

We can only hope that this new update will resolve many issues that have been preventing players from completing quests.
Bethesda has informed PC players that they can opt-in for this update ahead of schedule through Steam Beta options and provide feedback on their experience. It will officially launch on PC and Xbox consoles shortly thereafter.
Currently, no details about the major inclusions in the update have been disclosed. We'll provide more information as soon as it becomes available.
