One of the best parts of Stardew Valley is decorating your farmhouse, which personalizes your entire gaming experience. To do that, you can purchase new furniture and decorative items and use your imagination to arrange them. However, such items can be quite expensive, which is why you should consider obtaining Catalogues.
Catalogues provide access to furniture items for free. A great deal, right? With the newest 1.6 update, Stardew Valley introduced five new catalogues, each with its own theme and unique items. You can choose any catalogue you like and use it to decorate your dream farm.

How to Get the Trash Catalogue?
Understandably, the Trash Catalogue is not hard to obtain. It is only time-consuming, as you will have to search through a lot of trash cans in order to find it.
First, you have to search through 50 Garbage Cans to have a 0.2% chance of finding the Trash Catalogue in one of them. After you look through the first 50 cans, with every subsequent trash bin, your chance of finding the catalogue will increase. It is really easy to get the catalogue, and it's completely free.
Garbage Cans are also very easy to find. They are mostly placed near the houses of other villagers. You can find some near the Mayor's house, by the Saloon, by Emily and Hailey's house, etc. Once you learn the placement of the trash bins, make sure to check them daily and try your luck.
Something important to note about scavenging Garbage Cans is that if any citizens see you doing it, your relationship status might decrease. To avoid that, go through the cans when it is less likely for someone to see you, like in the evening.
