Christopher Nolan’s epic-scale biopic Oppenheimer made a huge splash at the nominations for the Academy Awards this year. It received a whopping 13 nominations out of 24 categories in total, making it the most nominated movie since Shape of Water (2018) and one of the most nominated ever.
Can you imagine? Even Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022) did not reach quite that high, scoring 11 nods last year.

After the infamous "Barbenheimer" phenomenon from the summer, Nolan’s 3-hour monumental film is seeing a resurgence in the conversation because of the Oscars, reaching every last person that still hasn’t seen it yet.
