PoP: The Lost Crown - Motherly Love Walkthrough

In Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, side quests are the best way to explore the map. They encourage you to go out of your way and deep into the unknown. One of those quests is Motherly Love, where players need to help a grieving mother get revenge for her lost children in the Depths. If you are struggling to complete this quest, here is how to do it.

Where to Start the Motherly Love Quest in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

The earliest you can pick up the quest is when you fall into the Depths after your battle with Vahram. From the starting point, move right and try to climb upwards. This leads to an old woman who tells Sargon about her children, killed by a creature named Erlik.

If you left the Depths before taking the quest, don't worry; you can always come back later. To complete the quest, or to pick it up if you missed it, you will need to have the air dash and the clone ability unlocked. You need the clone ability to bypass the Shield-Headed Worms. How to Complete the Mother Love Quest

After you unlock the abilities we talked about, head to the Depths again. This time, go left, where you will encounter the Undead boar, Erlik.

This creature is responsible for killing the mother's children. Erlik has four abilities:

• Poison balls spit attack: Simply dodge these orbs.
• Normal charge attack: You can parry this.
• Unparryable attack with his tusks: Dodge forward and go behind him to avoid it.
• Unparryable attack with his back legs: Simply dodge forward to avoid it.

After defeating Erlik, go to the room on the left, where you will see the children's bones.

Return to the arena room, and the mother will appear to complete the quest. It turns out she is a Crawler in disguise. Defeat her to finish the quest.

She will drop some Time Crystals and the Indomitable Spirit Amulet. This amulet increases your melee attack damage when your health is low.
